Rally for education:
Be in Albany on 6.8.13

Picture

It's time to raise all our voices in unison to support public education. Educators, parents, students and community members will have the opportunity to speak as one on Saturday, June 8, at the Capitol in Albany.
Check out this video...will you be there????

We need to send the message LOUD and CLEAR!

Take a few moments of your time to share your thoughts about the testing obsession that has taken over our days and severely reduced our time and ability to teach our students.

There is no doubt that more than ever before, our members rely on the internet to get information. We want to make our site as useful and informative as possible.
The Kenmore Teachers Association (KTA) is a vibrant and responsive organization that focuses on its purpose as outlined in our KTA Constitution:
  • To work for the well being of the school children, the advancement of education, and the improvement of instructional opportunities for all.
  • To develop and promote the adoption of such ethical practices, personnel policies and standards of preparation and participation as marked by the teaching profession.
  • To enable members to speak with a common voice on matters pertaining to the teaching profession.

We hope our emerging Website will help reflect our purpose and goals.
